Ministers of war on bloody pulpits preach hatred.
Instruments of destruction in mass production. Constant.
Words of peaceful wisdom get disregarded as nonsense.
Nuclear nightmares and automatic anxiety.
Heat seeking horror in our cyanide society.
Death is dealt but realize the house always wins.
In this game of sin that’s built on the backs of my fallen friends.
The thirst for blood will drown us all. The earth is steaming hot.
Will it be peace or emptiness we find the day the screaming stops.

I guess that statement is true. People are either blood thirsty for some kind of wrong committed against them or they want peace. It seems that the world revolves around people wanting peace being killed by those who disrupted peace and then those people get kill by even more people that want peace. I highly doubt that this vicious cycle will end during our time.
